06 September
Today as usual Mr. Herry check our uniform and our resources. After that we begin the practical assignment. First one is piano, violin, guitar and woodwind. I got the last turn in piano because it's according alphabetically. However I'm still nervous play in front of everyone. As a result, I played with many mistakes. I also play the piano become forte and vice versa. Sometimes I miss the staccato. Make it simple, I don't do the assignment very well. :(
07 September
Today as usual Mr. Herry check our attendance and resources. After that we saw several youtube videos. Next, we continue the practical assignment for the one who absent yesterday. Mr. Herry also said we have to collect our report and music scores since this is the last day. He also announced the scores of our assignment.
20 September
Today is the first day of Term 2. We have to singing a pop song in a group. We're divided into group of 6. Luckily, I got in one team with Emily. We're going to decide what song will we perform. In the end of term we will have to create a pop song with a software program called finale
Instrument class
We finish the homework for tomorrow and play it in piano. I can play it quite well, but I also have to learn how to write the key signature. I have to practice the major7th again at home.
21 September
Today, we have a quiz about major scale, major 7th and dominant 7th. I can do it because yesterday we did the exercise. But the problem is there are new things that we haven't study ; inversion. The teacher explained in front of class especially for the new student because we still don't understand. I think I did okay.
27 September
Today we have rehearsal with my singing group. We can choose 2 songs if we still didn't know what song that already fix for next week. We keep change over and over when deciding the song. Finally, we sing 'I'm Yours by Jason Mraz but at the end we choose Bad Day by Daniel Powter because it's easier to practice.
Instrument Class
We practice the major 7th inversion. It's like last week except we play the inversion. I kinda confuse with the fingering. Luckily Mr Herry explained it to us in the board. Today I only play for C and D only. Next time we play until G
28 September
Today we're having an assessment for major scale, major 7th and dominant 7th. The assessment is almost exactly same with the quiz last week, I can do pretty well for part 1 and 2. What I'm afraid is the key signature because I think that I don't write it right. Hopefully I can get good score for this assignment.
Instrument Class
Today we practice major 7th inversion again but until B. While waiting for my turn, I practice with the other piano. Mr Herry said I have to update my blog and upload new videos for this 2 weeks.
03 October
Today we practice for singing assignment. We sing 'Bsd Day' by Daniel Powter. I have to memorize all the lyrics so I can be more prepared tomorrow. Mr Herry said I have to be more expressive and brave.
